First Principles

Those actively working against the interests of the indigenous people of Britain deliberately associate any attempt to promote the rights and well-being of the ‘White British’ people with ‘white supremacist’ ideology. It should be pointed out that the term ‘White British’ used througout this website refers to the legally recognised racial/ethnic group of that name.

White British is a UK Office for National Statistics ethnic category, and White British is also a protected racial group for the purposes of the UK Equality Act 2010. Under UK law, anyone can self identify as a member of any particular ethnic/racial group.

Lest there be any doubt or confusion as to what the requirements are for a group to be lawfully recognised as an ethnic/racial group within UK race relations law, we refer to the case of Mandla v Dowel, Lee (1983) where Lord Fraser defined the social characteristics that must be present within the group to be recognised under the then 1976 Race Relations Act:

A long shared history, of which the group is conscious as distinguishing it from other groups, and the memory of which it keeps alive; (2) a cultural tradition of its own, including family and social customs and manners, often but not necessarily associated with religious observance. In addition to those two essential characteristics the following characteristics are, in my opinion, relevant: (3) either a common geographical origin, or descent from a small number of common ancestors; (4) a common language, not necessarily peculiar to the group; (5) a common literature peculiar to the group; (6) a common religion different from that of neighbouring groups or from the general community surrounding it….”

Considering the above, we are perfectly entitled to use the term ‘White British’ to describe those who self identify as such. Moreover, we should be able to discuss their situation, promote their interests and advocate for their future survival without being subjected to abuse, sanctions, threatened with violence or any other form of punitive action; neither should we be condemned, branded, labelled, stigmatised or otherwise libelled by those that object to White British people individually or collectively standing up for their rights.

Finally, we do not believe that the White British people are any better, or any worse, than any other ethnic or racial group. We do however, assert their right to live in peace with their neighbours and prosper in the only homeland they have.
